It took me a while, a lot of prayers, and plenty of help from friends to find my own place to stay in. Although it’s still not a permanent one, it will be home for me and my family during their short visit.
It’s a considerable walk away from the school where I teach in, but it’s conveniently placed near a familiar community where I can let my family spend some time in. The house has 2 bedrooms, one common toilet, a kitchen and a small but adequate living room. It doesn’t have an air-conditioning unit nor does it come with fancy ceiling lights, but I don’t mind. It does put a roof above our heads and some semblance of home. That’s enough for me.
I’ll continue looking for a more permanent space, but until I am successful in search, this will be our home.
