It’s been the season of weddings for the past 2 years. Last year, we had three. A week ago, we attended our friends’ wedding in Tagaytay. Yesterday, there was another one (but we missed it unfortunately). In November, we’ll be attending one more – almost all of which are of our batchmates’.
It’s not so surprising though. We’re almost thirty so it is high time for our batch to settle down, to start thinking about family, to start considering wedding favors, to start slowing down from work and start building stronger relationships with love partners.
Time is not slowing down for any of us. Before we know it, we’re already too old to be carrying our babies. It’s a good thing though that andrea and I are already ahead by two. hehehe!

Humans are creatures of habit. With that said, it is easy enough to understand why we do not easily take changes to heart. The longer we stick to our ways, the harder it is to change them; the harder to it is to accept changes pertaining to them. It’s no surprise that we often meet changes with rejection, even to the point of being hostile sometimes.
We are creatures of habit. We build our norms and standards on recurring patterns, the same way we construct structures following established foundations. We take refuge and comfort in what we’ve gotten used to. So much so in fact that we become disoriented sometimes when we lose our patterns.
However, change is inevitable. No matter how we try to resist it, it will eventually come. And I also believe it should. It’s the only way for us to grow, to be able to build bigger and better structures.
