no more chickenpox

Mateo just got vaccinated against chickenpox yesterday. It wasn’t really a required vaccine since chickenpox is not a fatal disease anyway. Not to mention that Andrea and I and almost everyone we know had chickenpox too. Nevertheless, we decided to have him vaccinated. According to Andrea, it will still be difficult for him especially if he gets it now that he’s still very small. Also, having him vaccinated against chickenpox would also save us from the difficulty of taking care of a sick baby. Now, if only it came with a cheaper price…

golfing

One of the sports that I dream of playing is golf. But like they say, it’s a sport for the rich and the famous, and I’m neither.I’m simply an average joe living more or less an average life. But I’m not discouraged. I do what I can to keep myself updated with golfing events, competitions, and even the players. In fact, I make it a habit to check ESPN or any of the other sports channels to help me with just that. Because for now, that’s the most that I can do.

But as I said, I’m not discouraged. On the contrary, I’m very hopeful. I know I’ll get to play too. Who knows? Maybe I’ll even get to play pro. (I wish!) There are so many resources online to be able to get that perfect golf swing. Nowadays, the path towards being the next Tiger Woods is not limited to the greens, Twominutegolfpro.com offers online golf lessons, helps you improve your golf swing and lower your score. Now it’s possible for me to become a more decent golf player. All I have to do is spend some online time and then the next time I step on those greens, my swing will be as good as theirs. Hehe!

1k Tuesday is back!

This just sealed me on my seat for the next few hours. Payperpost’s 1k Tuesday is back and it’s starting in the next few hours. Expect all posties to be glued to their seats every Tuesday starting this week. PPP will be releasing 10 opportunities worth $50 each and 1 opportunity worth $500. I would love to get even just the $50! I hope I get to at least one in time. Let’s just pray our broadband internet today won’t suck and that my fingers would be quick enough :)

yoga for fitness

The school where I teach promotes fitness and health. The canteen serves real healthy foods and the teachers get to try football, walking, mountain climbing, tai-chi, and yoga. I remember the time when our center director, who knows yoga really well, would give us free classes. Andrea and I were able to try it and we found it very relaxing and tiring at the same time. We has several sessions and we would have wanted to continue taking it if not for the start of classes. Andrea’s only complain then was her wardrobe and she’d also include mine. Hehe! Since we’re used to doing sports like basketball, volleyball, and football, we didn’t really have clothes that we’d be comfortable in while doing yoga. She wanted soft, cool clothes like long soft pants and slightly loose shirts. Not to mention that she wanted clothes that she could still wear when she goes elsewhere. We would have looked for yoga clothing if we continued with it. Now that the end of the school year is fast approaching, we might get a chance to try it again. So I guess it’s a good time to check out Yoga-Clothing.com for those yoga clothes she’s been wanting to get. We’re both aching to get ourselves back into shape.
