Looking at the new house we’re renting, I couldn’t help but imagine what it would be like if the owner would allow us to buy it. It has a very spacious layout with three bedrooms and two bathrooms to boast off. And even though it is only composed of one floor, the house seems to be big enough for all of us. Sometimes I think it’s even bigger.
The only thing that dampens the beauty of the house are the sidings. With more than a decade of constant beating from the elements, they look worn out and seem to be in need of replacement. The problem is it’s not yet ours. But if it was, then I probably would try to replace them with any of the Hardie products - siding board products developed by the James Hardie Siding, Platinum Level Contractor of All-tex Home Improvement Experts in Houston. Since their products are really meant for warm, humid climates then they’re the perfect ones for restoring this house.

For the past few weeks, our parents, both andrea’s and mine, have been going to our place. Although, most of the time, their visits were unannounced, or we’d just be warned a few hours ahead of time, these were all welcomed visitations.
You see, everytime someone other than andrea and me comes home or arrives here, Mateo lights up and starts showing off all his tricks and antics. It seems that our little babsy is starting to love basking in attention and he’s seeking for a little bit more now than what we usually provide him with.
Are we bothered? Nope! At least I don’t think so. Mateo’s growing thirst, for me, just means that he’s social skills and needs are developing quickly. That’s something that I genuinely appreciate and look forward to just like the surprise visits.

Recently, with the school’s renewed efforts to keep students from being distracted by their electronic gadgets, I’ve come to confiscate several cellular phones. Well, the truth is most of them were not really confiscated by me but rather by other teachers. But being the adviser of the responsible class where the owners of these items belong to, they eventually make their way to me.
Anyway, the surprising thing about the whole thing is, I’ve been an adviser for almost 4 years already, but I’ve never gotten this many confiscated articles before. And since it falls on me to keep all items safe and organized, I had to catalog each one - brand of phone, model, condition, owner, date of confiscation and even the person who confiscated it.
It sounds simple enough, but surprisingly, a little over 5 is already becoming a hand-full. This and the fact that I still have to submit a report describing all instances of confiscation, plus the usual work load of a teacher (which by the way is already a huge one) is already quite bothersome.
I can’t believe it would come to a point when I would be wishing that there was an inventory tracking software available for this kind of task or at least a dealer that provides one like HLSM’s online microfiche. Because there are available ones for other stuff like motorcycle parts and such. I just bet it would surely help.
