Andrea and I have our blogs hosted on our own web host. We initially had a free hosting account which came with the domains we bought. It was okay for a while because we didn’t really need that much space at the start but there was a banner of ads on our sites. The free hosting account is ad-supported so we had to endure seeing those ads on every page of our site.
